educational technology

It was suggested in the article “Mobile Devices Seen as Key to 21st-Century Learning” by Andrew Trotter, that mobile phone devices are being integrated into the learning process a lot quicker abroad than in the United States. The reason given is that parents and school officials see mobile devices in the classroom as a potential distraction. My personal opinion is that “potential distractions” already exist in the classroom. It is important that we use every tool in our arsenal to compete for better jobs in the 21 century.
