It was suggested in the article “Mobile Devices Seen as Key to 21st-Century Learning” by Andrew Trotter, that mobile phone devices are being integrated into the learning process a lot quicker abroad than in the United States. The reason given is that parents and school officials see mobile devices in the classroom as a potential distraction. My personal opinion is that “potential distractions” already exist in the classroom. It is important that we use every tool in our arsenal to compete for better jobs in the 21 century.

Virtual learning will be a very important platform in the 21st century. Communities that lack resources will be able to use the wealth of this platform for building communication networks. Education in a traditional formal structure is undergoing massive change.
